1955 ford thunderbird convertible - first year of the thunderbird! Convertible top is fair to good condition, the top goes up and down good with no rips or tears but not perfect, no hardtop. Glass is good and the chrome is good too (no pitting, shines nice)seats are excellent condition and are comfortable with no rips or tearscar as a whole is good driver condition, looks good inside and out. Mechanically this car runs like a top and i wouldn't hesitate to hop in it and drive cross country right now.

For sale on one of the nicest and rarest t-bird convertibles around! Extensive restoration on a southern rust freecar. Body panels including the floor are original and never rusted! Bottom side of the car was left in factoryundercoated condition. The quality of the paint is outstanding!! The bumpers were rechromed and look fantastictoo!! New exhaust, brakes and front end. The engine and trans were said to be rebuilt also, the engine starts withno hesitation. Sounds great with no strange noises. The automatic transmission shifts as it should. It goes rightdown the road with no wandering, it. To sum it up so far, the mechanics and cosmetics are in fantastic shape. The car has power windows, power steering, power brakes, power seat and a power top that work great! The power topworks perfectly and is very easy to stow, somewhat like a retractable hard top works. It's the 352 cubic inch "interceptor" engine, factory chrome dress up kit and take a look at those wide whites onkelsey style wire wheels!! Well, the previous owner installed a modern sound system in the car, the unit is tuckedaway in the glove compartment. The speakers, however are mounted in the lower 1/4 of the door panels and kickpanels as pictured. It's not something i would have done but easily rectified. This car has 64,401 original miles. It starts up and runs great, has powerwindows, seats, steering and brakes. I took it out the other day and drove it a bit. After it has sat for a coupleof days there still isnt a drop of anything under it. I am not trying to hide anything or make anything lookany better than it is, it is a very presentable car that can be purchased at a affordable price and driven andenjoyed or taken to shows for fun. The body is all hand formed steel of a 1957 ford thunderbird with many body modifications built by tomculbertson of culbertson's customs based out of indianapolis, indiana. The inspiration for "roxanne" came from ed"big daddy" roth and george barris designs from the 1950's and is finished in a high gloss brilliant gold metallicpaint with high profiled tailfins, custom grille and a chopped windshield. One of the striking features is the fully custom white naugahyde vinyl not only accented in the interior ofthe cockpit but also the wheel wells and hood pad which set apart a show car from a mundane cruiser. The trunk is equipped with a restored 1950's admiral television and matchingaccessories accented in 14-karat gold. Under the hood, this show stopping roadster sports a high-performance 351-cid ford v8 engine mated with a fordc4 automatic transmission, both rebuilt before installation. The engine sits in a show prepared engine bay and thecar comes with a custom made tonneau cover to protect it from the elements when parked outside but does not have ahard or soft top as this is a fair weather roadster. Never failed to win, show or place in any auto show in which she was entered and has beenpublished in numerous magazines and newspaper articles, as this car is a global sensation that will be a unique andexciting addition to any world-class automobile collection. 1957 ford thunderbird 312 v8 w/4bbl 245hp / automatic red exterior white vinyl interiorinfoa true barn find!!! 1957 ford thunderbird original 312 cu in. / 245hp, auto trans, power steering, and power brakes, red with whiteinterior and convertible top. Recently removed from dry storage, cleaned up and mechanically overhauled throughout. It has a solid frame and body panels... This garage find 1957 ford thunderbird is an excellent driver. Inspection sticker is from 1993 and it has beenstored in a dry environment since 2004. This is a nice driver with great potential, driver quality with older paint& original chrome. Mechanically gone through and runs great! Major tune up performed, new spark plugs, ignition wires, etc. New gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, and waterpump w installed. Carburetor rebuilt, transmission serviced, all fluids flushed and changed. Complete brakerebuild. New master cylinder, hoses,wheel cylinders, and shoes. Complete new aluminum exhaust system. All gaugesfuction, original radio not working. Overall condition:then engine compartment has been keep mostly as original , it's clean but it's not detailed. Mechanically has beengone through. The interior was redone sometime ago and is in really nice shape, with no tears or open seams, etc. Just clean and very presentable. Conv top and back window is nice and does not need to be replaced. The car has had bodywork through the years and been repainted. It's presentable but not perfect. All the bodypanels & floor are original and in decent shape. It appears to have only the lower quarter extensions and one smallfloor patch replaced. I have driven the car on various occasions. The car starts, runs, steers and stops fine. The car has old bias plytires with flat spots from sitting but driving it has improved them quite a bit.

This car is re-painted the original saphire blue which was a 1-year only thunderbird exclusive color. The only reason it was painted was the original paint was so faded, it was impossible to bring back to life. The interior is all original and features the correct thunderbird floor mats both front and rear. I had it charged and gone through about 5 years ago, but have really never used it. I believe the top is original too. There were 2 spots when the car was repainted, a slight curb scrape behind the right front wheel and a small spot of rust on the 'flipper panel' that the top is attached to. Everything is original except the mechanical top relays. Because of their inherent unreliability, they have been replaced with a custom electonic relay system that is extremely reliable. The only thing that is extra on the car that is not on the original build sheet is the right hand outside mirror. This was a dealer installed option. The car came without skirts and has the correct chrome wheel well surrounds. It wears new whitewall radial tires with red lines as shwon oon the invoice. All rubber seals have been replaced including top seals, door seals, main seal, transmission seal etc. I have invoices for all work done by me and also work done by the original owner. The mileage is original and correct. I also have the original georgia title as well as all books and manuals. These all go with the car. Air Conditioning
