I purchased this car from a gentleman in kentucky back in 2000. It is a numbers matching car with phsdocumentation. The former owner indicated that he had owned it since 1977 and had it repainted in 1982. My plan wasto build a stock looking sleeper street car. I pulled the original motor, rear axle and drive shaft, and put themin storage for safe keeping. This is all included with the car. 1970 pontiac firebird trans am, was the first year of the 2nd generation. Only 3196 were built just 1,339 withautomatic transmissions. Engine, pontiac 400 c. D. (the only engine available in the trans am in 1970) built to ram air lll specs. W/ ramair lv cam, engine is also balanced. The builder estimated it at 400 h. Not a numbers matching vehicletransmission, turbohydramatic 400, 3 speed w/ shift kit, recently all new seals, as well as new pump and torqueconverter. Posi-trac rearend 3. 55:1 gearsit never leaves the garage if it's raining and in 20 years it has never touched snow. It runs and drives great.

A good collector car should be rare(1 of 549 6 speeds with ram air) out of only 2,000 built. A proper car has been well kept. Only because the car has lived in the northern hemisphere, does it have a little surface crust on the sway bar, rear axle and control arms. A little rub down with a scotch pad would be in order on those spots.

This is an immaculate condition 1999 30th anniversary edition pontiac trans am with only 14,046 miles on it. This is #207 out of 1600 total 30th anniversarytrans am's made. This car is from a private collection and has been stored indoors in an air conditioned showroom. The car is absolutely perfect in every way. Even the blue anodized wheels look brand new. No flaking or pitting atall. Absolutely everything on and in the car works 100%. Nothing needs attention or repair. There is not much else to say about the car. Not a scratch on it anywhere. On a scale of 1 to 10, itis an 11. Included with sale is a log book of all paperwork and maintenance history for the car.
